Travel Itinerary

Day 0 - Pre-trek briefing at your Arusha hotel. Review equipment and prepare for your adventure.

Day 1 - Drive from Arusha to Machame Gate, hike through the rainforest to Machame Camp. (Elevation: 1830m to 3050m)

Day 2 - Ascend from Machame Camp to Shira Camp along rocky ridges. (Elevation: 3050m to 3850m)

Day 3 - Hike to Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp. (Elevation: 3850m to 4000m)

Day 4 - Climb the Barranco Wall to Karanga Camp. (Elevation: 4000m to 4050m)

Day 5 - Continue to Barafu Camp, prepare for the summit ascent. (Elevation: 4050m to 4700m)

Day 6 - Summit Mount Kilimanjaro at Uhuru Peak, then descend to Mweka Camp. (Elevation: 4700m to 5895m, then down to 3090m)

Day 7 - Descend to Mweka Gate, receive your summit certificate, and transfer back to your hotel in Arusha.

Visas and other immigration requirements are the responsibility of the client.
In the event of tour cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, clients will be notified and fully reimbursed.
Recommended gear: Comfortable hiking shoes, warm clothes (winter jackets, gloves, scarves, hats, thick socks) for lower temperatures near the summit.
