Groups will depart at 8am for Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2-3 hour journey from Arusha. Upon arrival, visitors begin with a mid-morning game drive to start exploring the park. One of the major attractions of Tarangire is its elephant population, which is estimated to be approximately 2,500, the highest in northern Tanzania.
Around 1pm, guests will have lunch at a designated picnic area within the park. After this, the adventure continues with an afternoon game drive, which may offer sightings of lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and gazelles. The Tarangire River attracts a variety of wildlife during the dry season, creating excellent opportunities for observing animals in their natural habitat.
